Nice to meet you! We are Mirthe and Wiljo, mother and daughter and proud owners of our shared little company 'MiJoMade'.  Together we use every spare moment of the week to create handmade dread and hair accessories.

 

With lots of time and attention we love to create you little artpieces for your own dreadhead! :) Besides that, we strive to use pre-owned materials, and upcycle them in our products. We strongly support a more sustainable green way of fashion!

When not working on MiJoMade, Mirthe is working in her own theatre company 'Theater Stof' and teaches children aged 4-6 years old at a nursery school in Utrecht. Wiljo studied ceramics and teacher of arts at the art academy in Kampen. Nowadays she works as a teacher of art at a secondary school in Apeldoorn and works enthusiasticly on an education project in rural Gambia.
